Everton's Moyes proposes break for Africa Cup.

I don't why Moyes has proposed a Premier League break for the Africa Cup. A sign of respect?
Old-fashioned virtues such as respect don't really exist in modern-day football. Or are managers
miffed about losing players? I have'nt seen Avram Grant complain about losing Drogba, Mikel and Essien (very fine players), Chelsea have just gone on with it.

As for Spizz's poor old team, Aston Villa, it doesn't look good losing their commercial manager
after 13 months.

I am blowing hot and cold on the foreign footie tour.

I am blowing hot and cold on the foreign footie tour but we will see how we will go.
I do fancy going to Gibraltar or Tenerife but I don't think get much approval on the home front.
Obviously, we would need Spizz's leadership up front. There is also a lot of faffing about organising a tour.

I am looking forward to Spizz's warm-up gig!

I am looking forward to Spizz's warm-up gig before the gang makes a triumphal appearance in Milan in March. He says this is the first continental concert since Germany in the 1980s. Spizz
is also talking about the possibility of some U.S dates.

Perhaps more importantly Spizz says he gave the mince pies at Christmas and has a more svelte
figure. This seems to have coincided with some improved football performances. On Friday night
he got a poacher's goal by teasing the ball into the net when the goalie tried to throw it out.
It was'nt quite George Best v Gordon Banks but it was pretty close.

Merry Xmas and New Year to all my readers!

Here is a Merry Christmas and New Year to all my readers. My New Year's resolutions include improving my fitness and actually scoring a goal in the right net during the Friday night game.
I might take up on some sports therapy where I can picture scoring. I need do something since it is not really happening on the football pitch.

In the New Year I hope to see Spizz play, although I don't think I can do the Milan date.
Hopefully, there is the possibility of more UK concerts. I missed the Led Zeppelin date but Jethro Tull is touring and might try and see them.

It's a shame it is not Paris for the footie tour!!

It's a shame it is not Paris for the footie tour, since it is a beautiful city and I think the population would take to their hearts a motley team of football players led by Spizz in attack. The French capital is also easy to get to with Eurostar, which has recently moved from Waterloo to St Pancras. The default choice of Tenerife, one of the islands in the Canaries, will need a bit of organising, so if I start now, we should get somewhere. It is a great island divided by the desert-like south and tropical north. We will probably play in Puerto de la Cruz, which is where my mate has retired to. He made quite a few bob to retire young!!

I have also made the decision to become player-manager. I think my football career has had a new zest. I played quite well last Friday and was even on the winning side.

Foreign football tour, part two??

Organising a foreign football tour can be a bit of pain but I hope that Spizz's presence will smooth the way. I am thinking of the Canary Islands/southern Spain. It depends on what my contacts on the ground come up with it. I think they will be delighted that a minor pop star will be coming their way.
Southern Spain could be interesting because we could have a day trip to Tangier in Morocco. We will have to wait and see.
I have not discussed the various name changes of the Spizz group formation such as Spizz Oil, Spizz Energi and Spizzvision. The young lad tried to get in the Guinness Book of Records but was
unsuccessful.

I am thinking of another destination for a football tour!!

I am thinking of a new destination for the football tour of the Friday night game, which will still have Spizz of Spizz Energi, Spizz Oil etc fame leading the attack. We should still benefit from the playing skills of Spizz's mate Mick, who can actually string some passes together and also plays the banjo. This makes Mick a version of Modern Renaissance Man in comparison with the some of the players, we have got.

The possible foreign destination is Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands. The main drawback is the cost of the flight, since low-cost carriers such as Ryanair and Easyjet don't go there. Perhaps we could get a good charter. Anyway, Dear Reader, I will keep you posted.
